The Ergonomic Trained Person (ETP) – Initial Ergonomic Risk Assessment (ERA) program is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to identify, assess, and document ergonomic risks at the workplace in accordance with the DOSH Guidelines on ERA at Workplace 2017.
This training emphasises both theoretical understanding and hands-on practice, enabling participants to prepare structured reports and propose control measures to reduce risks associated with Work-Related Musculoskeletal Disorders (WMSDs).
At the end of this course, participants will be able to :
1 hour exam covering key topics.
Participants to prepare and submit a structured Initial ERA report within 14 days after course completion.
60% minimum
Participants’ performance will be measured through:
• Written Test – evaluates knowledge retention.
• Report Submission – evaluates ability to conduct ERA and prepare official documentation.
This 2-day program provides comprehensive training to prepare participants as Ergonomic Trained Persons (ETP) capable of conducting Initial ERA, documenting findings, and supporting workplace compliance with DOSH guidelines. By combining theory, practical sessions, and assessment, participants will be competent to carry out Initial ERA effectively at their respective workplaces.
